Available Saturdays and Sunday's during winter and seven days a week in summer
Your day starts when you are met off the ferry by your local Ananda Tours guide. They will introduce you to our Island where stunning scenery is around every corner.
The first stop is a beer tasting at Alibi Brewing. Founded in 2016, Alibi is a 12 hectoliter, New Zealand fabricated CLE microbrewery housed below Tantalus Estate. They offer a wide range of beers including pilsner, hazy, pale ale and dark styles. From here we visit one of Waiheke's newest destinations 'The Heke' for a premium single malt whisky and beer tasting. Enjoy sampling two single malt whisky's each a minimum of 5 years old, the new make spirit and chase it with a crisp Heke larger. Set on 4 acres of gardens with 180 deg views, The Heke is architecturally designed with a relaxing atmosphere. After your tasting, sit down and enjoy a casual lunch and a beverage of your choice.
After lunch, we venture off the beaten track to discover the more remote Eastern End of Waiheke. Here we will visit Waiheke Distilling co. which is set on the ridge above Cowes Bay overlooking the Islands of Pakatoa, Rotoroa and Ponui. The gin distillery has been respectfully established to sit alongside and meld within structures that resonate the farming history of the area. Taste a range of their Waiheke gin's or Vodka while learning about the botanicals used and take in the spectacular view.
After the tour we will return you to the ferry or your local accommodation.
